May 14, 1998 -- Farnborough, UK -- The latest version of GCC-ERC32 is announced as part of the Fresco project. Fresco is funded by ESTEC, under contract 113174/NL/FM, and is a collaboration with Spacebel Informatique, S.A, Angleur, Belgium. The main purpose of Fresco will be to support projects who are using GCC-ERC32 on payload projects funded by the European Space Agency, and to this end, Fresco will deliver two product updates each year. The Fresco web site is soon to be unveiled as part of the ESTEC web site, www.estec.esa.nl, and will offer users a means to issue Software Problem Reports, and to get specific workarounds as well as general technical information.
